My Bump Hub Clinical Partner Terms

Effective date: October 17, 2026
Last updated: October 18, 2026

Thank you for joining My Bump Hub as a Clinical Partner. Families come to the Hub looking for care they can feel good about, and your credentials are a big part of that. These Clinical Partner Terms ("Clinical Terms") apply in addition to our Terms and Conditions (the "General Terms") and our Privacy Policy. Together, they are "these terms." If these Clinical Terms conflict with the General Terms, these Clinical Terms control for your listing and partner plan.

1. Who these terms are for

These Clinical Terms apply to licensed or certified clinical and birth providers who list on the Hub (each, a "Clinical Partner"), for example midwives, doulas who hold a certification, OB/GYNs and other physicians, nurses and nurse practitioners, lactation consultants, sonographers, and pelvic floor and mental health clinicians. If you are not sure which terms fit you, ask us at info@mybumphub.com. Businesses and supporters who are not licensed clinicians use the Village Partner Terms.

2. Verification before you are listed

We verify your credentials before your listing goes live, and we re-check them periodically, at least annually. Depending on your profession, our checks may include your professional license with the state licensing board in each state where you practice; your certifications with the issuing organization (for example, DONA, CAPPA, IBLCE or ARDMS); your National Provider Identifier (NPI) in the federal NPPES registry; the federal OIG exclusion list; your professional liability insurance certificate; and your government-issued ID.

You agree to give us accurate copies of the documents we ask for and you authorize us to check public registries and to contact licensing boards, certifying organizations and insurers to verify your information. We may decline or delay a listing until verification is complete.

Verification is a check of documents and registries at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of the quality of your care, and we will not describe it that way.

Your ID check through Stripe Identity is your first step. After you apply or pay, we email you a link to your check, as described in Section 6 of the General Terms and Section 3 of our Privacy Policy. Your listing goes live, and you get access to the village and your Partner Tier features, only after you pass your ID check and our credential and other verification checks are complete. Paying before then does not give you access. If verification, including your ID check, cannot be completed within 30 days after you pay, the full refund in Section 10.6 applies.

3. Keeping your credentials current

  • Stay in good standing. You must keep every license, certification, registration and NPI you list valid and in good standing while you are listed.
  • Tell us about changes. You must tell us in writing at info@mybumphub.com promptly if any license, certification or insurance expires, lapses, is suspended, revoked, restricted or put on probation; if you become subject to any disciplinary action, board order or exclusion from a government health program; or if you are charged with a crime related to your practice.
  • Suspension and removal. If a credential lapses, is restricted or cannot be confirmed, we may suspend or remove your listing right away, without notice, until the issue is fixed. Suspension for a lapse does not pause or refund your partner plan (see Section 10.6).

4. Insurance

You must carry professional liability (malpractice) insurance of at least $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 in total, or the amount required in your state and profession, whichever is higher, and general liability insurance where relevant. You must show us proof when you apply and whenever we ask, and tell us if your coverage ends or changes.

5. Scope of practice and the law

You must offer only services you are licensed, certified and legally allowed to provide in each state where you offer them, and stay within your scope of practice. You are solely responsible for following all laws, regulations, licensing board rules and professional standards that apply to you, including informed consent, record keeping, telehealth and cross-state practice rules. My Bump Hub does not supervise or direct your clinical work.

6. Health information and HIPAA

My Bump Hub is a directory and information service. For directory use, we do not believe we are a HIPAA "covered entity" or a "business associate" of any Clinical Partner. To keep it that way:

  • Do not send protected health information (PHI) through the Hub. Do not use any Hub contact form, messaging or email feature to send or ask for patient health information, records, diagnoses or treatment details. Move any clinical conversation to your own HIPAA-compliant systems.
  • Your own obligations stay with you. If you are a covered entity, you remain responsible for HIPAA and any state health privacy law in your own practice.
  • No business associate agreement. We do not sign business associate agreements for directory use. If you want the Hub to handle PHI for you, talk to us first. It would need a separate written agreement.

7. No referral fees or fee-splitting

Your partner plan is a flat annual fee for directory listing and features. It does not depend on, and will not change with, the number of patients, referrals, bookings or revenue you get from the Hub. My Bump Hub does not take a share of your fees, does not make referrals, and does not accept payment to steer any family to you. You agree not to offer or pay My Bump Hub, or anyone else, anything of value in exchange for referrals through the Hub.

8. Advertising and claims

Your profile and anything you post must be truthful and not misleading, and must follow the advertising rules of your licensing board and profession, the FTC Act and the FTC's Endorsement Guides. In particular, you must not:

  • Promise or guarantee health outcomes, or claim to cure or prevent a condition without proper support.
  • Claim a credential, specialty, board certification or affiliation you do not have, or list a title your state does not allow you to use.
  • Post patient testimonials, photos or stories without the patient's written permission and any disclosures your board requires.
  • Imply that My Bump Hub recommends you for any particular family or condition.

You may say that you are verified on My Bump Hub only in the way we describe it, with the date of our most recent check, and only while your listing is active.

You may say that you are ID verified on My Bump Hub only while your badge is showing. Do not say or imply that Stripe verified, approved or endorses you or your services, and do not use Stripe's name or logo to promote your listing.

9. Your profile and our license to publish it

9.1 Accurate information

You agree that everything you submit, including your name, business name, bio, services, service area, credentials, pricing, photos and videos, is true, current and not misleading, and that you will update it promptly if it changes. You may not claim credentials, licenses, affiliations or results you do not have.

9.2 Permission to publish your profile

When you submit a profile and check the box authorizing My Bump Hub to publish it, you give My Bump Hub a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to host, store, copy, display, publish, format, resize and distribute the name, business name, bio, services, photos, logos, video links and other content you submit (your "Profile Content") on the Hub and in materials that promote the Hub, such as our social media, emails and partner directories. This license lasts while your listing is active and for a reasonable time afterward to remove it from our systems and materials, except that we do not have to recall printed materials or posts already published before you asked us to remove your listing.

You confirm that you own or have permission to use all Profile Content, including any photos of other people and any music or images in your videos, and that our use of it as allowed here will not violate anyone's rights.

9.3 Our right to review, edit and remove listings

We review listings as part of verification. We may format, shorten or lightly edit Profile Content for clarity, length or consistency, and we may decline, suspend or remove any listing at any time, including if verification cannot be completed or lapses, or if we believe the listing is inaccurate, violates these terms or creates risk for families or for the Hub. You may ask us to remove your listing at any time by contacting info@mybumphub.com.

10. Partner Tier plans, renewal, cancellation and no refunds

You may buy a paid Clinical Partner plan (a "Partner Tier"). The features and price for each Partner Tier are described on the page where you buy it. We want the way your plan works to be clear and fair, so here it is in plain language.

10.1 Partner Tiers are annual plans, and you choose whether to renew

Every Partner Tier is an annual plan. You pay for one year at a time, and your plan does not renew automatically. Before your paid year ends, we will email you to let you know it is time to renew, with the price, the renewal deadline and a link to pay. If you renew by the deadline, your plan continues for another year. If you do not renew by the deadline, your plan is not renewed and your listing comes down at the end of your paid year. We will never charge you for a renewal unless you choose to pay for it, or unless you first agree in writing to automatic renewal (see Section 10.11).

Once you are verified and your listing goes live, you get full access to all the features and services included in your Partner Tier for the full paid year, subject to these Terms.

10.2 Your price

  • Founding and existing partners. If you were a founding or existing partner before October 17, 2026, your annual price is locked at the same price you pay today for three (3) annual renewals, counted from your first renewal after October 17, 2026. After those three renewals, you can keep renewing each year at the then-current price, and we will tell you ahead of time about any change (see Section 10.4).
  • New partners. If you join on or after October 17, 2026, you pay the current price shown at checkout for your first year. After that, you can renew each year at the then-current price. If your renewal price will be different from what you paid the year before, we will tell you before you renew (see Section 10.4).
  • Currency and taxes. Prices are in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, which will be shown at checkout where they apply.

10.3 Checkout and your agreement

Partner Tiers are purchased through the checkout of our third-party payment processors (currently PayPal, with Stripe coming soon). Before you pay, our pricing page shows the tier, the annual price, that the plan is for one year and that we will email you before your year ends to renew, how to reach us, that you get a full refund if we cannot verify you, and that once you are verified all payments are final and non-refundable. By paying, you agree to these Terms. Where our checkout asks you to check a box agreeing to these Terms, including any automatic renewal terms, you must check it before you can pay, and we keep a record of the date and time you accepted and the version of the Terms shown to you, together with your checkout record.

You pay upfront, and your listing goes live after verification. You pay the annual price when you buy. Your listing goes live only after we complete verification (see the verification section above). Payment does not give you access to the village, your listing or any Partner Tier features until your ID check through Stripe Identity and our other verification checks are complete. We aim to finish verification within 5 business days after we receive everything we need from you. Your paid year starts on the date your listing goes live, and your renewal date is one year after that. (If you are a founding or existing partner who is already verified and live, your paid year starts on the date you are charged.) If we cannot complete your verification, we will refund your payment in full (see Section 10.6).

After you buy, we will email you a confirmation that repeats the key terms: your tier, the price, that your plan is for one year and does not renew automatically, the date your paid year ends, that you get a full refund if we cannot verify you, and that once you are verified all payments are non-refundable, with a link to these Terms.

10.4 Renewal reminders and notice of changes

  • Renewal alerts. We will email you about 30 days before your paid year ends, again about 7 days before, and a final notice on the renewal deadline. Each alert tells you your tier, your renewal price, the renewal deadline, how to renew and what happens if you do not. Your renewal deadline is the last day of your paid year.
  • Price changes. If your renewal price is going to change, we will email you at least 15 days and no more than 30 days before the new price takes effect, with instructions on how to cancel. If you renew yourself, the price we show you in your renewal notice is the price you pay, and you can simply choose not to renew. If you have moved to automatic renewal (see Section 10.11), where the law requires it, we will either ask for your consent to the new price before charging it, or let you cancel within 14 days after the first charge at the new price and refund the unused part of your term. Founding and existing partners will not see a price change during their three (3) price-locked renewals.
  • Other important changes. If we make a material change to how your Partner Tier renews or is billed, we will give you clear notice ahead of time, with instructions on how to cancel.

10.5 Choosing not to renew, and how to cancel

You never have to do anything to stop a renewal. If you do not renew by the deadline, your plan simply ends at the end of your paid year, and you will not be charged again.

If you would like us to stop sending renewal alerts, or to end your plan early, email info@mybumphub.com from the email address you used to sign up. You do not need to call or talk to anyone. Ending your plan early does not give you a refund for your current paid year (see Section 10.6). We will confirm by email.

10.6 All sales are final: no refunds

IF WE CANNOT VERIFY YOU, WE WILL REFUND YOU IN FULL. ONCE YOU ARE VERIFIED, ALL PARTNER TIER PAYMENTS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE.

Full refund if verification cannot be completed. If you do not pass verification, or we are unable to complete it (for example, because a credential cannot be confirmed or you do not send the documents we need within 30 days after you pay), we will refund your payment in full and your listing will not go live.

After you are verified, all sales are final. When you pay for a year, you are paying for the full year, much like a season pass or park admission. This means:

  • No refund for the current term. We do not refund any part of a year you have paid for, including the first year and every renewal year.
  • No refund if you stop partway through your year. Choosing not to renew, or asking us to end your plan early, does not give you a full, partial or prorated refund for your current paid year. Unless you ask us to remove your listing sooner, you keep full access until your paid year ends.
  • No refund based on results or satisfaction. We do not give refunds based on how many clicks, views, leads, inquiries or bookings your listing gets, or because you are not satisfied with the results.

The only exceptions are (1) the full refund above if we cannot complete your initial verification, (2) where the law requires a refund, and (3) our own billing mistakes. If we charge you in error, for example a duplicate charge, a charge after your cancellation took effect, or a charge for the wrong amount, we will refund that charge once we confirm the mistake. If New York law requires a prorated refund after a price increase, as described in Section 10.4, we will follow it. To report a billing mistake, email info@mybumphub.com.

10.7 No guarantee of results

A Partner Tier gives you access to the features and services included in your tier. We do not promise or guarantee any particular results. We do not guarantee any number of clicks, views, leads, inquiries, bookings, clients or revenue, any ranking or placement in search results or on any page, or any other business outcome. Results depend on many things outside our control, such as what families are looking for, where they live and the information in your listing.

10.8 Payment processing

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processors (currently PayPal, with Stripe coming soon). Our payment processors receive your payment card or account details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number. Each processor handles payment information under its own terms and privacy policy. If you have agreed to automatic renewal and a renewal charge does not go through, we will contact you to update your payment method, and we may end your Partner Tier at the end of your paid year if payment is not completed.

10.9 What a Partner Tier is not

A Partner Tier may give you added visibility or features. It does not guarantee results (see Section 10.7). Buying a tier does not change or speed up verification. Every partner goes through the same verification checks whatever tier they choose, and a paid tier is not a recommendation for any family's particular needs. Paid placements will be clearly labeled, for example as Featured or Sponsored, where required.

10.10 Removal

If we remove a listing because you violated these Terms, or because a credential lapsed, was restricted or could not be re-verified after you were first verified, we do not have to refund any fees, except where the law requires it.

10.11 Moving to automatic renewal

We may invite you to move your plan to automatic renewal by card. If we do, we will email you the terms, the price, how to cancel and a deadline to agree. Your plan moves to automatic renewal only if you agree by checking a box and adding a card at our secure checkout. We will not charge your card until your current paid year ends. If you do not agree by the deadline, your plan will not be renewed, and your listing will stay up until the end of your current paid year and then come down. We will never remove your listing partway through a year you have paid for because you did not agree to automatic renewal.

11. Ending your listing

You can ask us to remove your listing at any time. If you ask us to remove your listing, your plan ends too, and you will not get renewal alerts. Removing your listing early does not give you a refund for your current paid year (see Section 10.6). We may suspend or end your listing as described in Sections 3 and 9.3. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as the profile license for materials already published, the no-refund terms, indemnity and dispute resolution) continue after your listing ends.

12. Indemnity and the General Terms

The General Terms, including the disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and dispute resolution sections, apply to you as a Clinical Partner. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless My Bump Hub from claims arising from your clinical services, your scope of practice, any lapse in your credentials or insurance, your advertising and claims, and your handling of patient information.
